We want to show you that with the best food and the necessary basic skills, you can make many things at home much more easily and, above all, better than any meal from ready-made products. For the first time, we are now making the Brandherd Esskultur Akademie accessible to you, dear guests: in our cooking courses on the “basic craft of cooking”, we teach you things that we are convinced you should master if you like to eat well. In the basic wine course, you will get to know yourself and your taste in wine in a new way and will then find it much easier to find wines that inspire you.

Linocuts by illustrator Wiebke Lehmann for the 100/200 - in an exclusive small edition
Wiebke Lehmann, born in northern Germany in 1963, worked in London and Berlin after completing an apprenticeship as a potter and studying ceramics. She co-founded Hering Berlin in 1999 and later moved to the Meissen porcelain manufactory. Since 2021, she has run TAWL with her own showroom on Kurfürstendamm.
She demonstrated her illustrative skills with the hunting dishes for Hering Berlin and the drawings in the Waldhotel Sonnora. The commission for the 100200 was a special, creative challenge for her – from fruit and vegetables to fire, smoke, goose and fermented food. She would like to thank Sophie and Thomas for their trust and the opportunity to capture her culinary year in drawings.

We also impart valuable knowledge about cutting techniques and the correct posture in the kitchen.
Basic wine course
Start your Sunday in style with a sparkling wine, accompanied by fine appetizers from the starred kitchen of the 100/200 . In a relaxed atmosphere in the gallery, we will address exciting questions about wine: Is wine really always a natural product? How do you recognize good quality? And what suits your personal taste?
Basic cooking skills
Learn the essential basics of cooking with two-star chef Thomas Imbusch in our exclusive course. From the correct preparation of a sourdough to the preparation of classic sauces such as vinaigrette, mayonnaise and hollandaise to perfect egg dishes – we will teach you the techniques that enrich every kitchen.
