She was on a stage long enough, to share her passion for evoking emotions.
She uses her craftworks, craziness and creativity to create an emotional atmosphere but not only with her instruments. She had experienced wonderful moments of happiness in her parents’ kitchen, when friends and family would come to cook and dine together it was a moment of pure joy. It is from these moments that Sophie Lehmann knows that the emotive approaches to both music and food are very similar. And so she decided to make the kitchen and wine cellar to her very own stage. Wine is her instrument and the gastronomes are her accompanists.

Performances in the Schlosshotel Burg Schlitz und other kitchens


A pair of these accompanists were the married couple Armin and Manuela Hoeck.
In their Relais & Châteaux Schlosshotel Burg Schlitz were the beginnings for Sophie Lehmann’s all-round hosting and love for the details. Her talents were exhibited under Christian Freier, the maître and sommelier at the Ostseelounge of the Strandhotel Fischland and Dünenmeer in Dierhagen, and later on so was her enthusiasm for hosting and wine.
And the Jeunes Restaurateurs d’Europe taught the aspiring chef, and sommelier the love for quality products and the passion for this unique craft.
Every guest of hers would predict a grand future for Sophie Lehmann.
However she did not see herself in that position, and so she moved on and accepted an invitation to the Off-Club. There, she was introduced to the head chef and knew from that moment that she would never be bored again.

Performance at 100/200

It was Thomas Imbuschs combination of passion, insanity and professionalism, that made gastronomy sound exactly like what she had been searching for in her profession. He understood to the art of being a host and the art of food and sustainability, in the same way as Sophie always had.
He gives attention to every detail, just as Sophie does.
Thomas Imbusch never had to convince Sophie for the concept of 100/200 – for her it was the logical sequence of events. The role of a vinophile chef became a part of her; a warming host who recommends and serves.
Here at 100/200 she can do what she loves confidently and with passion, this is something she is sure of. The role will challenge her, push her forward and it will excite her.
